Ken Reeves
Ken Reeves is currently serving in the Six Sigma Black Belt Program at Bell Helicopter and recently served as Vice President of Human Resources for another Textron company, E-Z-GO in Augusta, Georgia. Prior to E-Z-GO, served as the Director, Senior HR Business Partner for Bell Helicopter supporting Commercial and Government Programs, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Legal, and Communications. Reeves has been with Bell Helicopter/Textron for approximately two years and joined Bell from RadioShack Corporation where he was the Vice President of Employment, Employee Relations, and Diversity. Prior to RadioShack he spent 12 years in the Energy Industry with organizations that included Dynegy, Inc., Enron, and Reliant Energy where he served in a Corporate HR role. Reeves attended Texas A&M University on a football scholarship and graduated with a Bachelors degree in the college of engineering, a Masters in Human Resources Training and Development, and has completed most of his course work towards his Ph.D.  Prior to his corporate career he spent seven years in the National Football League with the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns. Reeves retired from the NFL after the 1991 season and returned to Texas A&M University to attend graduate school.


John Heidtke
Widely recognized as one of the Southwest’s leading sports executives, Jon Heidtke is Senior Vice President and General Manager of FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports Oklahoma. The networks are part of the vast FOX Sports television family and affilates of FSN, which consists of 19 regional sports networks from coast-to-coast specializing in home team coverage.  Heidtke manages the Southwest and Oklahoma operations that reach over 10 million cable and satellite television homes in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and parts of New Mexico.  With more than two decades of experience in the sports television industry, Heidtke has gone from an on-air personality to a top management position. Prior to joining FOX Sports Southwest, Heidtke successfully managed a 15-state region for ESPN as a Southeast account manager where he was responsible for securing the network’s distribution. He also spent three years as regional sales manager for Chicago-based regional sports network SportsVision.



Bill Sutton

Dr. William A. Sutton currently holds an appointment as Professor and Associate Department Head on the faculty of the DeVos Sport Business Management Graduate Program at the University of Central Florida. In this role Dr. Sutton teaches courses in sport marketing and sales and promotional management in sport and serves as the Internship Coordinator for the program. In addition to his duties at UCF, Dr. Sutton is the founder and principal of Bill Sutton & Associates, a consulting firm specializing in strategic marketing and revenue enhancement for clients including the NBA, NHL, Orlando Magic, New York Yankees, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Pittsburgh Pirates and the WNBA. Prior to assuming his current positions, Sutton served as Vice President, Team Marketing and Business Operations for the National Basketball Association. In this capacity, Dr. Sutton assisted NBA teams with marketing related functions such as sales, promotional activities, market research, advertising, customer service, strategic planning and staffing. Dr. Sutton has previously held academic appointments at Robert Morris University, the Ohio State University, and the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.


RC Buford
RC Buford was named president of sports franchises for Spurs Sports & Entertainment in July of 2008 and continues his current position  as the general manager of the Spurs while overseeing the sports administration for the other three teams in the SS&E family (the Austin Toros, the San Antonio Silver Stars and the San Antonio Rampage).  Buford is in his 19th season with the Spurs.  Buford started his coaching career at the University of Kansas in 1983 and during each of his five seasons at Kansas, the Jayhawks participated in the NCAA Tournament.  Buford officially made the move to the NBA in the summer of 1988.  In the summer of 1997 he became the Spurs director of scouting, was promoted to vice president/assistant general manager in the summer of 1999, and was named the Spurs general manager in July of 2002.
