Announcement of Event on April 14, 2011
The Center for Sport Management Research and Education will host a Golf Tournament, Branding Summit and Fundraiser Event on April 14, 2011, starting at 8:30 am. For more information, please check back for updates at http://csmre.net/services
The first event, a golf tournament at Traditions Golf Course in Bryan, Texas, will be held from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm that day.
Upon conclusion of the golf tournament we will host an annual meeting of the Center Advisory Board at the Traditions Clubhouse. This one hour meeting, approximately from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm, includes a meet and greet between Center Advisory Board Members
That evening, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, we will co-host a Sport Branding Summit with the Mays Business School. The event will take place at Mays Business School and will include two panels discussing the importance of branding in the sports industry. Both panels will be moderated by sports media personalities. One panel will include speakers from the firm side of sports branding. The second panel will include branding discussion from the sport side like team owners, professional athlete, etc.
